After BCombat today (Ida are you in Johor?), I walked to Pavilion to meet Mom for lunch.
Went to Tonkatsu, shared a Set A, ordered a side dish of Horenso (spinach with bonito) and also a bowl of vegetarian udon.

My friend J invited me to join Boot Camp at KLCC this evening. It was quite fun and a decent workout. After that, we walked to KLCC for dinner. At Isetan Japanese cafe in the basement.
I had a donburi set with an udon soup, salad and shared 2 pcs of salmon avocado sushi (didn’t finish all the rice). 2 cups of green tea.

I forgot to take a photo of my lunch today. Fortunately I had breakfast as my lunch was at almost 2pm. We had Japanese Bento box today, I was very happy to have the Unajyu set (grilled eel) which came on some sticky rice, some pickles and soup on the side. To complete the meal, 2 cubes of fruit (1 melon, 1 watermelon) and 1 cube of herbal jelly.
In the late afternoon I dropped by M’s place and we had a coconut each.
I was home late today, didn’t have anything to eat (not even canned tuna Ida). So I decided to drive quickly to Isetan and grab some veges and sushi.
Previously when the supermarket was on the 3rd floor, sushi used to be discounted 30-50% off after 8pm. Not anymore, too bad. Anyway bought some salmon belly sushi and an oshinko maki. Soya sauce and wasabi. Decided to make my own accompaniment of green oak leaf salad with sprinkled pine nuts.
Water.
We decided to have a slow morning as hubs was having stuffed up sinuses, so had to do lots of hot compress towels with inhalants to ease off the congestion.
It was around noon by the time we left the house and decided to go for lunch. It was a toss up between the japanese place round the corner and another place we wanted to try further away. Feeling hungry? yes. So round the corner we went.
The restaurant had a special holiday set menu with a variety of items prepared by the chef. Decided to go for it and had no regrets. A tempura dish to start – fish and some vegetables and mushrooms, very nicely done. Then a platter of sushi, seaweed and grilled chicken and fish accompanied by rice and soup. We also had the house ocha.
After that, a scoop of ice-cream for dessert and an iced coffee for me (hot one for hubs).
I skipped breakfast this morning, woke up late and was rushing around for my appointment. I had a perrier during my mid morning meeting.
Then for lunch, mum rang me and asked me to pack something home. So I went to Isetan supermarket and bought:
Salmon sushi, Inari and Avocado maki
A whole roast chicken and a bag of mixed salad greens. We ate most of it (didn’t finish all of everything) and really enjoyed the meal.
By the time we were done at the hospital, it was 1.30pm and mum wanted to have lunch. We went to Isetan and to her favorite Pokka Ton Katsu joint. Resisted the temptation to over order and stayed with the main set and a. Wafu salad (front pic) which was super delicious. I drank most of the miso soup.
