Tuesday Tea

QUICK UPDATE: Cupcake was not nice, ate 1/4 (taste test, it’s a mini-cupcake). I went for the mini salmon-mushroom quiches instead (2).

Consultants are encouraging us to eat to stay focused and not feel cold.

1 Cupcake and 6 almonds.

Friday Very Late Dinner

Image

We arrived in Bangkok and with the change of time zones, our gastric juices also changed timezone and we were all over the place. By the time we hunted food down, it was midnight and the only place that was bright, looked clean and cheerful was… MacDonalds.

Of course my hubs says this is the stuff of death, but I consider it a last resort.

So I had a filet-o-fish (removed the nasty white mayo) and half a pack of fries (didn’t finish it, the other pack is not mine by the way) and a sprite. It did fill me up but of course I know it probably wasn’t in a good way.

Thursday Breakfast

Super unhealthy. I didn’t have time for breakfast before I left the house today so my tummy was starting to rumble as I sat in the hotel conference. When they announced it was breakfast, my colleague got me this. As non-paleo as you can get. Uurgh. But there was nothing else. So tragic that hotel conferences just can’t serve something healthy beside the stuff of clogged arteries. Even more tragic that I finished it. sigh.

Tuesday Dinner

Image

A very late dinner at 11pm which was because of work and other personal incidents. Was too tired to make anything substantial, but too hungry to go straight to bed.

Korean instant noodles with fresh enoki mushroom and my home-made bean sprout salad which I kept in the fridge.

I finished it all and then was up til 2.30am!

Friday Breakfast

I was rummaging around for something to eat, very difficult to find “paleo” things at home (I sympathize, Ida). Ended up eating about 8 californian prunes and 2 lemon puff biscuits. I made a spoon of honey in hot water which was probably the most paleo thing…

Thursday Lunch Dessert

Along the corridor of shops, there’s a well and purposely placed fridge with Magnums for sale, all priced at Rp 12,000. Its Rp 500 more than the Circle K downstairs but they have all the flavors whereas CK only has the original and true choc.

I have been having a chocolate craving since yesterday, so I got an almond one!

Then I finished the bottle of water. Probably most water I’ve drunk in 10 minutes. Now am waiting in the departure lounge.
