Thursday Dinner

I went out to dinner with A in Little Korea Ampang and we had a really fun time chatting. She ordered heaps of food. Apart from the appetizers (in picture) we also had a hotplate of beef with spiced cabbage (delicious), a sweet-tangy soup (even more delicious), each a bowl of cold buckwheat noodles (sweet-ish soup) and a Jep Chae (vermicelli with vegetables).

Washed down with a nice bottle of black raspberry wine and cold water. We had an iced coffee each for dessert which was super yummy… ate until I was stuffed, tummy stuck out ha ha.

Korean appetizers and freshly tossed salad

Korean BBQ at Born Ga. A lot of food, fantastic meal, very authentic, too much to eat!

We ordered the famous woosyeamgeok (specially seasoned sliced beef) and a seafood pancake and a belly pork dish. All the accompaniments were vegetables and fantastic salads. Not stingy at all as they kept refilling (usually Korean restaurants pretty stingy with the appetizers and vegetables). We also ordered seafood pancake, I didn’t have any, but it was for my friend who eats seafood but doesn’t eat meat. Then as customary, a few pieces of fruit for dessert. And lots of light Korean tea.
