Thursday Lunch

We were wondering what to eat today and in the end decided on having lunch right downstairs from the office. Iranian food!

I had a chicken beriyani and shared a bit of hummous with KC and AC. I just at the drumstick and gave the wing to AC because she likes the wing. The rice was delicious so I finished most of it!

To drink, a 100 plus!

Friday Lunch

Again started with a bowl of cinnamon toast crunch! My favorite cereal.

Had lunch at 1-ish after meeting at the downstairs Iranian joint. We wanted to have shawarma but they told us that it was down to the last one and we couldn’t have any. So ordered from the menu. Had a lamb beriyani which had nice almonds and raisins (notice the nice tomato salsa on the side) and shared a hommous with UL and AC. Had a 100 plus to drown out the salt (works well Ida). Wondered why I was so hungry (ate everything) then realised that I only had mangosteens for dinner.

Tuesday Snack and Dinner

What a rather crazy day.

I felt hungry at 6.30pm and dinner was scheduled with a colleague at 8pm. So a friend gave me one piece of keteyap and I ate a pack of sunbest raisin biscuits (3 slim biscuits in one pack).

Then dinner, by the time we ordered it was around 8.45pm and it was middle eastern food. Hummus (3 bowls), Tabulah (2 bowls), Fo-ul Mudamas (1 bowl) and 1 mixed grill platter, between 3 of us. To be fair, it was 2 ladies and 1 very hungry guy, so the hungry guy did all the polishing off of the lebanese bread and hummus.

We ended with some nice hot arabian tea.

Monday Dinner

I had dinner with a friend tonight, we decided to have middle eastern food at Sahara Tent restaurant along Jalan Sultan Ismail (near Bukit Bintang side).

I just ran over from the gym (after Combat class) so was all hot and sweaty forgot to take photos of what I ate, but the pictures are available on their  Sahara Tent website so I shall describe it here.

1) 1 glass of ice cold ice lemon tea (could not resist, it was so hot)

2) Mezze platter to share (small dishes of various starters), comes with 2 pieces of flat bread

3) Cous-Cous with Lamb (cooked with carrots and potatoes in a soupy sauce)

4) 1 bottle of mineral water

We didn’t finish the lamb or the bread or the Cous Cous but I’m still so full now…
